If you arrived here from Pinterest or any other social media site, from our email newsletter, or even from typing our URL in yourself – you may be wondering where all our content went.
As of today, we will be restructuring the way Survival Shelf works – we’re not exactly how we’ll be doing this going forward, but we’re sure that removing our old content was the first step to make this happen.
Why we’re doing this: if we’re going to be continuing with this site, we’d like to have the content on here be much more substantial than it’s been (links out to other articles). We know that sites that link out to other people’s articles are useful – but there are so many others of them in this industry that it really is unnecessary to have one more.
If you’re looking for an alternative to Survival Shelf now that we’re no longer using the link out model, please consider trying out SHTFPreparedness.com or HomesteadingandPrepping.com for your everyday survival information drop needs. These are great sites that do just the same as Survival Shelf has been doing for years.
While we’re not 100% sure the direction we will be taking with Survival Shelf, one idea we have is to use it to publish articles from our friends who have communicated an interest in sharing their opinions on the subject of survival. Readers have come to us in the past asking if we could share their words, and unfortunately, because of the way this site was structured, we didn’t feel it was the right place to do so. We may be doing this here from now on in the future.
But it’s no guarantee. And so if you’d like to stick around and see where things go: thanks, we appreciate it! If not, we’re sorry for any inconvenience this will have caused, and hope you can find an alternative to Survival Shelf that you’ll be very happy with.
We’re glad to have been able to have aided you in the past with your research – and while we are sorry we will no longer be able to continue helping you out finding links in the same way in the future, we hope that you find other tools and resources that will do the job that we’ve been doing – maybe even better than we’ve been doing ourselves.
And if we do restructure in the way we’re currently considering – hopefully it will be much more valuable to you than the way we’ve had this page structured in the past.
We’re very sorry to part on these terms, and again, hope you find what you’re looking for as a replacement to this site.
Good luck to all of you on your quest to become better preppers and survivalists. I’m sure you will succeed, as you’ve obviously taken it upon yourselves to actively seek out new information and keep yourself updated on the interesting things those in our industry are discovering and sharing with others. There’s always so much to learn, but each step you take is one that takes you closer to your goal to be the best preppers and survivalists you can be – so kudos to you.
All the best.
